Instead, requisition is generated constantly by the army headquarters. These resources are not harvested or otherwise gathered by the player's units. Two primary resources exist: requisition and power. Battles are won either by holding a certain number of control points for a period of time or by destroying all of the opposing armies' base structures. These control points are captured by infantry squads and provide resources to construct additional units and buildings or unlock certain units in an army's tech tree. The subsequent focus of the game then shifts to capturing and holding strategic locations on the battlefield. The player starts with a single headquarters building and a few basic units, usually just one construction unit. Gameplay is initially focused on base and unit construction. The sequel title, Dawn of War II, was released in February 2009. Most recently, Dawn of War and the first two expansions were released together as The Platinum Collection in the USA or as the Dawn of War Anthology in the PAL regions. Later, the Game of the Year edition and Winter Assault were bundled in the Gold Edition in the USA. The Game of the Year Edition was released on Septemin the USA and on Septemin Europe, containing 4 exclusive maps. Since the original game was made available, three expansion packs have been produced: Winter Assault in 2005, Dark Crusade in 2006 and Soulstorm in 2008.

rar file if people don't mind the leg work of putting the files in the right folder themselves. I could just upload my games multiplayer map directory in a. I was going to include a link to a map pack I downloaded in the past, but for the life of me I cannot remember the packs name. Such maps are labelled with (Apocalypse) after the map name. Just as a note Ultimate Apocalypse modifies the base game maps so they don't have draw distance fog to work with the increased zoom levels.
You can customise the game quite a bit using these, turning off vehicles, unit tiers, increasing population and resource generation or reducing them and research time, either just for the A.I. so they can't drop nukes/warp storms/capillary towers. I usually play with ones that double defensive turrets and wall health and turn off game enders for the A.I.

The mod has a lot of small settings that you can change for a game. Tyranids on hard are really mean, along with Orks and nearly any other faction. Though we tried our best, the A.I rather brutally stomped us in all accounts. Well, so far a few games have been had between myself and Sinistar.

Still worth a try though, even if you ignore the campaign because there are few things it does differently than UO (there faction called Administratorium that UO doesn't have - apparently, you are a planetary governor, throwing waves of PDF and obsolete vehicles at your enemies, with the option to align yourself to various outer powers like Chaos, Tau, Space marines) But when you are playing campaign mode, having nearly every attack or defense turn into an hour(s) long slugfest, it can exhaust you pretty quickly. In practice that means, unless you immediately rush your opponent and even then hope for the best, nearly every match will boil down to a gruesome, bloody siege warfare. The problem I have with TW in campaign mode is that while there are super units and even lots of normal units get damage upgrades, the HP of structure is also considerably higher. Why this is relevant to your question is the fact TW's game changes also apply to campaigns (you can get a version for Dark Crusade easily, Soulstorm one is a bit trickier due to some dispute on ModDB). It adds lots of new units and even factions, though the scale of battles is a bit smaller than UO - for instance, UO lets you build multiple types of titans, where TW only has one per each side (if I am not mistaken).
There is a mod called Titanium Wars which is a bit like UO.
